[Financial News] A total of 12,000 people visited the model home for Geoje’s largest branded apartment complex, comprising 1,963 units, in the three days after it opened.
According to Hyundai Engineering on the 19th, visitors flocked to the model home for Hillstate Geoje Signature, which is being built in Okpo-dong, Geoje, South Gyeongsang Province, from its opening on the 16th through the weekend. The project site is in the area around 1670 Okpo-dong. The development will comprise 1,963 units, with exclusive floor areas of 84–165 square meters, in buildings with seven basement levels and up to 36 floors above ground. The company believes the project has attracted interest with its large-scale community facilities and educational services, which are rare in the area.
Applications will continue with first-priority applications on the 20th and second-priority applications on the 21st. Visitors who verify their subscription application at the model home will receive a Lotte gift certificate. According to the resident recruitment notice posted on a subscription information platform, the first-round supply comprises 356 units from the complex as a whole. The most expensive unit type is priced at 1.6595 billion won. Contracts will be signed from November 9 to 11, and move-in is scheduled for August 2030.
The location’s main selling point is the proximity between work and home. The site is about 2.5 kilometers from Hanwha Ocean’s Geoje site. Residents can use existing amenities in the Okpo area, including Lotte Mart, Hanaro Mart and Okpo International Market, and can travel more easily between the island and the mainland via Geoje-daero and the Busan–Geoje Bridge. The model home is at 302-3 Okpo-dong, close to the project site, and visitors’ ability to look around the area themselves also drew a positive response.
The community facilities are designed to let residents exercise, relax and enjoy cultural activities without leaving the complex. Centered around a 25-meter, three-lane indoor swimming pool and an indoor golf practice range with indoor practice space, the facilities will include a multipurpose gym, sauna, fitness center and kids’ center. There will also be a private media room for watching films and video content, a shared office and a residents’ café. Visitors often stopped to look at the facility layout and artist’s rendering displayed on the wall along the way to the model units on the second floor. At the consultation desks, prospective buyers lined up to ask about layouts for each unit type, prices, subscription eligibility and contract terms.
“There was strong interest in the fact that this is Geoje’s largest Hillstate-branded complex and offers a higher standard of spatial quality, as well as in the range of community facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, and specialized educational services,” a sales representative said. “Visitors to the model home continued to ask about the layouts of the actual unit types and the facilities within the complex, and many also checked details such as the application schedule and contract terms.”
