[Financial News] Honda Korea drew around 2,100 customers to a motorcycle festival in Boryeong, South Chungcheong Province, as it sought to expand its brand following. It broadened engagement with customers by offering a range of programs, from test rides on 13 new motorcycle models to safe-riding lessons and off-road experiences. Since its first event in 2022, cumulative attendance has surpassed 12,600, and Honda Day has become a major customer-participation event.
Honda Korea said on the 19th that around 2,100 people took part in “2026 Honda Day: Come to Boryeong,” held on the 17th at Boryeong Mud Expo Square in Boryeong, South Chungcheong Province.
Honda Day is an event held by Honda Korea in major cities across the country to share riding culture with customers. Since its first event in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi Province, in 2022, it has also been held in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province; Gyeongju and Sangju, North Gyeongsang Province; and Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, among other places. This year’s event in Boryeong marked its 11th edition.
The event featured four themes: “Ride Boryeong,” “Try Boryeong,” “Enjoy Boryeong” and “Taste Boryeong.” Test rides on 13 models proved especially popular, including the CB1000F retro sport motorcycle launched in July and the CBR650R and CB650R, both equipped with Honda E-Clutch.
The event also featured an exhibition of the latest motorcycles, including the 2026 Super Cub, safe-riding lessons and a mini gymkhana experience. In the “Adventure Turtle Race,” introduced for the first time this year, riders used the Honda CRF300L and Honda CT125 Hunter Cub to navigate off-road obstacles as slowly as possible in an unusual competition.
Experiential programs were also offered for families. Activities included mini-games, embroidered keychain-making and tarot readings, as well as a self-camping area and a food zone. A raffle was also held, with a 2026 Super Cub model with spoked wheels offered as a prize.
Honda Korea plans to continue expanding customer events centered on motorcycle test rides and hands-on experiences. From 2022 through this year, Honda Day has drawn around 12,600 participants.
