[Financial News] Lenovo Korea Ltd. said on the 19th that it had officially launched in South Korea the ‘Yoga Pro 9n,’ a laptop equipped with NVIDIA Corporation’s RTX Spark platform. It is the first Lenovo laptop to feature RTX Spark.
The Yoga Pro 9n is designed to run artificial intelligence (AI) models and agents on the laptop without connecting to the cloud. Lenovo Korea Ltd. said one device can handle a range of tasks, including AI content creation, software development, 3D work and high-end gaming. It also supports 4:2:2 hardware video decoding and processing 3D scenes of up to 90 GB.
RTX Spark is a platform that combines an RTX graphics processing unit (GPU) based on the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture with a Grace central processing unit (CPU) and up to 128 GB of unified memory. The Compute Unified Device Architecture (CUDA) software stack enables users to work with a range of AI models and frameworks, and process data on the device for local AI tasks.
The laptop also features a cooling system designed to handle demanding workloads. Lenovo X Power technology supports a thermal design power (TDP) of up to 80 W, and the system includes dual fans, four heat pipes, a mesh plate and enlarged vents. It uses overclocked memory, and the company said it had reduced noise to as low as 22 dB.
The product has an aluminum chassis and weighs about 1.65 kg, with a thickness of 16.7 mm. It supports a 92.5 Wh battery and fast charging, and is equipped with USB-A, USB4, HDMI 2.1 FRL and an SD card reader. It also features a 9.2-megapixel (MP) infrared camera for video conferences, four Dolby Atmos-certified speakers and three 3D noise-canceling microphones.
To mark the launch, Lenovo Korea Ltd. is holding a first-come, first-served promotion for customers who purchase the product through Compuzone and Naver Brand Store. It is giving away Shinsegae gift certificates and Lenovo L16 portable monitors, and offering reward points to customers who submit photo reviews. Premium Care services—including Accidental Damage Protection (ADP), which covers damage caused by customer negligence, and technical support from professional engineers—are each provided for two years.
Shin Kyu-sik, CEO of Lenovo Korea Ltd., said, "As content creation and development using AI continue to expand, demand is growing for high-performance PCs that can run AI on the device itself without relying on the cloud." He added, "The Yoga Pro 9n will set a new standard by bringing together everything from AI tasks to high-end content creation and gaming in a single laptop."
