[Financial News] Lotte Group held the 2nd Lotte Love Family Festival, inviting employees and their families to strengthen labor-management harmony.
Lotte said on the 18th that the Lotte Love Family Festival, held on the 16th, is an event jointly organized by Lotte Group and the Lotte Group Labor Union Council to recognize the hard work of employees and their families and foster labor-management harmony. After first holding the event last year at Lotte World Adventure Seoul, which it booked in its entirety, Lotte expanded this year’s festival to include Lotte World Adventure Busan.
Around 17,000 people attended the event, including Lotte Group employees and their families, recipients of the group’s social contribution program, the “Mom Pyeonhan Family Award,” children in “Mom Pyeonhan Dream Attic,” and athletes from Lotte’s para sports team.
This year, Lotte expanded its range of hands-on activities so employees’ families could feel proud of Lotte Group. Large coloring designs themed around the group’s new growth drivers, including biotechnology and secondary battery materials, were set up so participants could color them in themselves and learn about the group’s future businesses.
Special events were also arranged for employees with multiple children and the families of athletes on Lotte’s para sports team. Lotte presented employees who had their third child this year and their families with a model key for a Carnival vehicle, a stroller, snack gift sets and other items. It also gave gifts expressing gratitude and support to athletes from Lotte Holdings’ para sports team and their families, including fencer Ryu Eun-hwan, who competed at the Asian Games.
Other programs included an awards ceremony for Lotte Global Logistics, which won the 2026 Giants Cup Lotte Group Baseball Tournament for the second consecutive year, and a Lotte Family singing contest. Lotty, Lorry and Bellygom, some of Lotte’s best-known characters, took commemorative photos with participants throughout the venue. A prize draw also offered items personally autographed by athletes from the golf team and ski and snowboard teams sponsored by Lotte.
Jeong Gu-jin, an employee in the Architecture and Civil Engineering Team at Lotte Construction who attended the event, said, “I had a wonderful time enjoying the amusement park with my child, and our whole family made happy memories.” Jeong added, “Spending time with my family has also made me feel even more pride in and affection for the company.”
A Lotte official said, “Employees and the families who have stood by them as a steadfast support are Lotte’s greatest assets and driving force.” The official added, “We will continue to lead the way in fostering an advanced corporate culture in which work and family life are in harmony.”
