GS Engineering & Construction trains senior residents of Xi apartments to use smart-home features

[Financial News] GS Engineering & Construction recently selected three Xi apartment complexes with a high proportion of senior residents and held “Xi Senior Onboarding” events. The program used Xi Home, the app for Xi’s integrated residential services.
According to GS Engineering & Construction on the 16th, Xi Home provides a range of residential services that residents use in their daily lives on a single platform, including smart-home controls, access to shared entrances, visitor vehicle registration and community facility reservations.
During the on-site training, GS Engineering & Construction employees were stationed at the complexes and explained key functions frequently used in daily life to senior residents one-on-one, from installing the app and signing up to linking their apartment units, accessing shared entrances, registering visitor vehicles and using community facilities.
GS Engineering & Construction says it considers the program a success, citing improved system use among senior residents and the use of feedback on residents’ experiences gathered on site to improve Xi Home services. The company plans to create a “digital-friendly” user environment, including “Large Text Mode,” “Easy-to-Use Mode” and “Voice Guidance,” to improve senior residents’ digital accessibility.
