[Financial News] The total number of items donated through SK ecoplant’s resource-circulation campaign “Circular Economy (CE) 100,” which has been running since 2024, has surpassed 30,000. The donated items are used in partnership with Miral Welfare Foundation’s Goodwill Store to create jobs for people with disabilities and support their independence.
According to SK ecoplant on the 16th, the campaign is a social contribution initiative focused on resource circulation, in which members donate clothing and accessories, household goods, books, and small appliances that they no longer use but can be reused.
SK ecoplant regularly installs large collection bins in its headquarters lobby to make donating more convenient for its members, and supports participation through various methods, including in-person drop-offs and parcel delivery, depending on conditions at each workplace and project site.
SK ecoplant also continues its efforts to connect the value of resource circulation with local communities. The company supports child welfare facilities near its project sites with proceeds from waste PET bottles and cans collected by members at its headquarters and project sites. An SK ecoplant official said, “We will continue to run resource-circulation and sharing programs that members can take part in on their own at our headquarters and project sites.”
