[Financial News] Actor Lee Young-ae (55) attended the awards ceremony with her husband, former Korea Raycom chairman Jung Ho-young (75), who is 20 years her senior. The two appeared side by side at the venue and greeted attendees.

The event the two attended together was the 16th Beautiful Artist Awards ceremony, held on the 15th at Stage 28 in Godeok-dong, Gangdong-gu, Seoul. Lee Young-ae arrived at the venue alongside her husband, former chairman Jung.
That day, the Lee Young-ae couple met with several attendees at an event hosted by the Shin Young-kyun Arts and Culture Foundation. Shin Hye-jin, Shin Young-kyun’s daughter and vice chairwoman of Seyoung Enterprise, escorted the two, and they greeted Shin Young-kyun’s granddaughter Lee Jae and her betrothed Sam Kim, among others.
Former chairman Jung Ho-young graduated from the graduate school of the Illinois Institute of Technology in the United States. He is known as a businessman who went on to lead South Korea’s telecommunications venture industry. His assets are reportedly worth about 2 trillion won.
Lee Young-ae and former chairman Jung are a couple with a 20-year age gap. They held a private wedding in Hawaii, United States, in 2009, and had fraternal twins—a boy and a girl—in 2011.
The Beautiful Artist Awards, which the two attended, were established by the Shin Young-kyun Arts and Culture Foundation in 2011. Each year, the foundation selects people who have contributed to the development of culture and the arts and presents them with awards.
This year’s recipients included actor Kim Mu-yeol, who was selected for the Film (including Drama) Artist Award, and actor Park Geun-hyung, who was selected for the Performing Arts Artist Award. The Artist Merit Award went to cinematographer Lee Seok-gi, the Good People Artist Award to the late Ahn Sung-ki, and the New Artist Award to director Kim Do-young.
Writer Ahn Philip, the late Ahn Sung-ki’s second son, attended the ceremony and accepted the award on his father’s behalf.
