[The Financial News] bb.q Chicken has entered Nonghyup Hanaro Mart. Consumers can now buy chicken while grocery shopping at the deli section.
Industry sources said on the 16th that Genesis BBQ Group had opened bb.q Chicken stores at two locations: Nonghyup Hanaro Mart’s Gyeonggi Seongnam and Goyang branches.
The stores were planned to make it convenient for customers visiting Nonghyup Hanaro Mart to buy bb.q Chicken menu items while grocery shopping. Through its Okay Cook Deli stores inside Nonghyup Hanaro Mart, bb.q Chicken aims to make its brand more accessible and cater to shoppers’ needs for both meals and snacks.
The menu comprises 14 items in total, including 10 varieties of gangjeong, three side dishes, and old-fashioned whole chicken. The selection includes boneless fried gangjeong, boneless seasoned gangjeong, Jamaica-sauce-flavored gangjeong, and Bboomchiking gangjeong, offering a variety of flavors for consumers to choose from according to their preferences. Side dishes to enjoy with chicken include whole-shrimp menbosha, fried eggplant, and corn ribs.
bb.q Chicken plans to open more stores inside Nonghyup Hanaro Mart to help consumers access its products more conveniently in their everyday lives.
A bb.q Chicken representative said, “We’ve expanded the places where we meet consumers so they can enjoy a variety of bb.q Chicken menu items even at the mart where they do their regular grocery shopping. We’ll continue to improve customer convenience and expand our brand touchpoints through various sales channels.”
