According to financial industry sources on the 15th, Hana Financial Group held the “2026 Hana JOB Matching Festa in Incheon” at Songdo Convensia in Incheon the previous day to help middle-aged job seekers find new jobs and support small but competitive local companies in recruiting experienced talent.
The job fair was held as part of “Hana Power On Second Life,” a program supporting middle-aged people seeking reemployment. After launching in Busan last April, it was held in Incheon as the fifth event, following events in Gwangju, Suwon and Daejeon. Seven local partner organizations, including the Incheon Regional Employment and Labor Office and the Incheon City Job Center, also took part.
Twenty small but competitive companies from fields including airports, ports and tourism, as well as manufacturing, logistics and social services, took part in on-site one-on-one job interviews. A separate recruitment board provided job listings from around 50 companies.
The event also offered programs where middle-aged job seekers could try out new types of work and build their digital skills. At the job experience center, participants could try roles such as cognitive health manager, solo content creator and data labeler. The AI zone helped them prepare for employment with AI-assisted résumé writing, mock interviews and career aptitude assessments.
Professional consultants also provided one-on-one career assessments and résumé reviews. Other activities included profile photography, personal color analysis and physical health measurements using AI healthcare technology.
Financial consultations were also available to help participants prepare for retirement alongside their job search. Hana Financial’s dedicated senior support team, the “Hana Happiness Dream Team,” offered personalized advice at an on-site consultation zone on post-retirement asset management, inheritance and gifts, and voice phishing prevention.
A Hana Financial Group official said, “It is very meaningful to connect middle-aged talent with extensive experience and know-how to small but competitive local companies through close public-private cooperation with organizations in the Incheon area, and to put inclusive finance into practice in the local community.” The official added, “We will continue to support middle-aged people in making a successful second act in life while growing together with local communities, and steadily expand effective job creation and reemployment support programs for middle-aged people.”
Meanwhile, Hana Financial is taking the lead in putting inclusive finance into practice through job creation programs for people across generations. These include the “Hana Power On Innovation Enterprise Internship,” which expands employment opportunities for groups facing employment barriers through internship placements with social innovation companies, and “Hana Social Venture University,” which identifies and nurtures local young entrepreneurs. The group plans to hold this year’s final “Hana JOB Matching Festa” on November 23 at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul.
