[The Financial News] Samsung Asset Management’s ‘KODEX US Nasdaq 100’ exchange-traded fund (ETF) has surpassed 10 trillion won in net assets, buoyed by inflows from individual investors.
According to the Korea Exchange on the 15th, the ‘KODEX US Nasdaq 100’ had total net assets of 10.1509 trillion won as of the previous day. It has remained at a similar level since surpassing 10 trillion won on the 6th.

Samsung Asset Management cited performance and its ability to track the index, among other factors, as reasons for the inflows. The ETF’s returns were 11.78% since the start of the year, 50.04% over two years, and 102.18% over three years, outperforming comparable products over the longer periods. Its tracking error rate, a key measure of fund management performance, has remained low.

Lim Tae-hyeok, head of ETF Management at Samsung Asset Management, said, “Surpassing 10 trillion won in net assets is the result of our customers’ trust in our meticulous tracking-error management and management capabilities demonstrated by long-term performance. We will continue to manage it stably and efficiently.”
