[Financial News] K Bank is looking to recruit new talent with artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. It plans to select interns for a hiring-linked program, provide them with practical work experience, and have every intern complete AI assignments tailored to their role.
According to sources in the financial sector on the 15th, K Bank is launching recruitment for interns for the first half of next year. Applications will be accepted through the 26th.
This internship is part of K Bank’s strategy to recruit “AI-native talent,” which it has emphasized since this year. The bank will incorporate AI capabilities into all aspects of its hiring process and internship program.
During the internship, all interns will work directly on a range of “AI assignments,” including building AI agents, improving work efficiency using AI, and planning AI-based services, with coaching from their team leaders and mentors.
There are two recruitment fields: Biz/Marketing and Tech. Applicants may apply to one field. The process will proceed in the following order: application screening, an intermediate assessment, an interview, a two-month internship, and evaluation for conversion to full-time employment.
Applicants must be scheduled to graduate by February next year or have already graduated, and must hold at least a bachelor’s degree. Those who have already graduated must have less than two years of total full-time work experience.
Starting in January next year, selected interns will spend two months working on practical projects in business units. They will also receive onboarding training, including one-on-one mentoring from senior employees, essential financial training, and business etiquette. Interns who receive strong evaluations may join the company as full-time employees sometime in March next year.
A K Bank representative said, “We look forward to strong interest and applications from talented people who embrace AI as a new tool and can actively apply it in their work.”
