According to the pharmaceutical industry on the 14th, third-quarter sales of J&J’s Leclaza-Rybrevant combination therapy totaled $320 million. That amounts to approximately 427.5 billion won. Of that, sales in the United States accounted for $201 million (about 268.5 billion won), while sales outside the United States accounted for $119 million (about 159 billion won).
Cumulative sales have also surpassed last year’s level. Sales of the combination therapy rose from $327 million in 2024 to $734 million last year. Cumulative sales through the third quarter of this year reached $866 million (about 1.157 trillion won), already exceeding last year’s full-year sales.
Leclaza is a non-small cell lung cancer treatment developed by Yuhan Corporation, and its generic name is lazertinib. Yuhan Corporation licensed Leclaza to J&J in 2018, and since then, the combination therapy of Leclaza and J&J’s Rybrevant (generic name: amivantamab) has been approved in the United States, Japan, Europe and elsewhere.
Under its licensing agreement, Yuhan Corporation receives milestone payments at stages such as development and regulatory approval, as well as royalties based on product sales. As sales of the combination therapy expand, the likelihood that Yuhan Corporation’s related revenue will also increase has grown. However, the actual royalty amount may vary depending on the contract terms and settlement criteria.
