[Financial News] NH Nonghyup Bank is expanding its electronic contract system to branches nationwide to improve transparency and efficiency in contract work.
According to sources in the financial sector on the 14th, Nonghyup Bank first introduced the electronic contract system in its head office departments in August to assess its stability and ease of use. It then decided to expand its coverage to branches and offices nationwide from the 30th.
Nonghyup Bank plans to manage through the electronic contract system every step from signing contracts for goods purchases, services and construction work to delivery and inspection. By standardizing contract procedures through a computerized system, the bank aims to reduce operational blind spots and improve transparency and fairness throughout the contracting process.
Work previously handled manually and in person will also be streamlined. The changes are expected to improve the speed and efficiency of on-site operations by shortening the time from contract signing to payment and reducing unnecessary administrative procedures.
Business partners will also be able to use standardized contract procedures online. They will be able to track the progress of contracts more easily, which is expected to make transactions more transparent and predictable. Nonghyup Bank also plans to strengthen trust and cooperation with its partners through this initiative.
Kang Tae-young, president of Nonghyup Bank, said, “By expanding the electronic contract system from head office departments to offices nationwide, we have firmly established a culture of more transparent and faster contract operations in the field. With rigorous internal controls and an efficient work environment, we will work with our partners to build an ethical and trusted bank.”
