Incheon City said it held the “2026 Incheon Industrial Complex Development Status and Land Sales Briefing” on the 14th at the Incheon Business Support Center, with around 150 people attending, including representatives of small and midsize companies and investors.
Four organizations—the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH), the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, the Incheon Metropolitan City Development Corporation (iH) and the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority—participated in the briefing and provided information on development progress, supply plans, sale prices and application procedures for each industrial complex.
LH presented updates on the Yeongjong Aviation General Industrial Complex, which is intended to foster the aviation manufacturing and transportation industries in connection with Incheon International Airport, and the Yeongjong Bio-Specialized Complex, which aims to expand the production and collaboration base for the bio industry.
The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation introduced the Gyeyang Industrial Complex, which is being developed across an area of approximately 243,000 square meters in Byeongbang-dong, Gyeyang-gu. Its proximity to Gyeyang Interchange on the Seoul Metropolitan Area Ring Expressway, Nooji Junction on the Incheon International Airport Expressway, the Airport Railroad and Gyeyang Station on Incheon Metro Line 1 was highlighted as a major locational advantage, offering excellent transportation access.
iH explained progress on the Incheon Robot Land Urban High-Tech Industrial Complex, which will bring together research, production and testing functions for robotics companies, and the Geomdan 2 General Industrial Complex, a hub specializing in the environmental industry and linked to research and development. For Geomdan 2, where construction began last March, officials are considering starting sales of industrial facility sites sometime from the second half of 2027 through 2028.
The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority announced supply plans for industrial and research sites in the Songdo International City, Yeongjong and Cheongna districts. It provided information on remaining lots and sites scheduled for future supply, including Songdo’s 11th district and the Yeongjong Bio-Specialized Complex, focusing in particular on Songdo’s bio cluster, home to Celltrion, Samsung Biologics, SK Bioscience and Lotte Biologics, among others. The Songdo bio cluster is home to around 140 industry, academic and research organizations and supports an employment base of approximately 14,000 people.
Incheon City expects the briefing to help companies efficiently compare site conditions and supply information for different industrial complexes and make investment plans. The city plans to continue providing information on industrial complex development and land sales, while pursuing location-support policies to attract outstanding companies and support the growth of local businesses.
Kim Sang-gil, head of Incheon City’s Future Industries Headquarters, said, “We organized the briefing to help companies choose suitable industrial locations based on accurate information,” adding, “We will support companies’ investment and growth by promptly providing information on industrial complex development and land sales.”
