Gochang’s first top-tier builder-branded complex... 888-unit Gochang Desian to go on sale next month

[Financial News] A branded apartment complex by a top-tier construction company is set to be built in Gochang County, North Jeolla Province, for the first time.
According to industry sources on the 14th, the 888-unit Gochang Desian, which Taeyoung Construction is building on Blocks B2 and B3 in the Deoksan District of Gochang-eup, will go on sale next month. A Taeyoung Construction consortium will handle construction, and the complex will carry the Desian brand.
The homes will come in three sizes. The 84-square-meter exclusive-use units, the most popular among end-user buyers, account for 711 units, more than 80% of the total. There will also be 101 units measuring 104 square meters and 76 measuring 125 square meters, aimed at buyers looking for larger homes. As the complex includes both public and private housing units for sale, it is subject to the price ceiling system. The company expects prices to be set at a reasonable level.
The Deoksan District project will develop approximately 150,000 square meters around 209-1 Deoksan-ri, Gochang-eup, with a total of 1,211 units in apartment buildings and detached houses. Samsung Electronics is investing 350 billion won to build a Smart Hub Complex nearby, raising interest in whether workers at the industrial complex will generate a surge in housing demand. The development will include roads, parking lots, quasi-residential and business facilities, three parks and four green spaces. Parks and green spaces will cover 28,820 square meters, about 19% of the district. Just outside the district are Gochang Eupseong Fortress, Nodong Reservoir, Wolgok Neighborhood Park and Gochang Natural Yard.
Another advantage is that, despite being a newly developed district, residents will be able to continue using the amenities in the existing town center. Gochang County Office, Gochang Hospital, Gochang Traditional Market, Hanaro Mart and Gochang Culture Terminal are near the complex. Cultural and sports facilities, including the Gochang Culture and Arts Center, Gochang Hwang Yunseok Library and Gochang Indoor Gymnasium, are also nearby. Gochangnam Elementary School, Gochang Middle School and Gangho Aviation High School are within walking distance, and interest is expected from households with children. The model home will be built near 572-6, Eupnae-ri, Gochang-eup.
