【Financial News, Incheon = Han Gap-su, Staff Writer】 Gachon University Gil Medical Center announced on the 14th that it would begin full-scale operation of its “Integrated Patient Experience Platform,” which uses artificial intelligence (AI) to quickly analyze patient feedback and apply it to improving medical services.
The platform was jointly developed by the departments responsible for patient experience and the hospital’s subsidiary, Gachon Healthcare Tech, with frontline staff participating to ensure it included features needed for their day-to-day work.
The platform automates repetitive tasks, including analyzing open-ended feedback from patient experience assessments and preparing departmental reports. AI categorizes patient feedback by key points and positive or negative assessments, helping staff quickly identify areas for improvement.
It also offers integrated management of the process from receiving customer inquiries to handling them, and features that allow the results of on-site inspections to be used in departmental training and improvement activities. Mobile rounding notifications inform patients of scheduled rounding times and share the information with medical staff and relevant employees.
Gachon University Gil Medical Center plans to use the platform to improve work efficiency and response times and ensure that patient feedback leads to tangible improvements in medical services.
Kim Woo-kyung, president of Gachon University Gil Medical Center, said, “Going forward, we will continue to use AI to improve work efficiency and response times and pursue improvements in medical services that patients can experience.”
