[Financial News] Amorepacific’s social contribution program, ‘Meet Your Beauty Academy,’ has graduated 65 young people in India.
According to Amorepacific on the 14th, the company partnered with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) to run the program in the Delhi metropolitan area of India.
The program was designed to strengthen local young people’s practical skills related to beauty and support their economic independence.
The training was held in seven sessions across three areas: beauty, digital skills, and strengthening employment and entrepreneurship skills. Participants learned about the beauty industry and K-beauty, as well as content planning, filming and editing, online communication, and creating personal portfolios. In-person training, assignments, and expert mentoring were also included.
Outstanding graduates are expected to collaborate with Amorepacific-affiliated brands that have entered the Indian market to plan and produce content. They will be able to gain hands-on experience by applying what they learned in the program to real-world projects.
Lee Seon-ju, an executive in Amorepacific’s PR Division, said, “We will support young people in applying the skills they learned in the program to real-world projects and gaining experience.”
