Korea Investment & Securities Co., Ltd. Launches AI Voice Research Service, Expands Global Reports

[Financial News] Korea Investment & Securities Co., Ltd. has launched a service that lets users listen to investment research in an AI-generated voice and is expanding its partnerships with global financial firms. The move aims to make investment information more convenient to access on mobile devices while also strengthening its overseas research content. Korea Investment & Securities Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Korea Investment Holdings Co., Ltd., said on the 14th that it had launched “Listen to Research,” a service that lets users listen to research content in an AI-generated voice through its mobile app.
The service converts research summaries and analysis available in the mobile app into AI-generated audio and reads them aloud. It also highlights the sentences being read on screen in real time. Users can follow along on screen as they listen, making the research materials easier to understand.
One feature of the service is that it lets users access investment information even when they cannot easily look at a screen, such as while commuting or traveling. The company expects access to investment information and ease of use to improve, as customers who find small print difficult to read can also listen to the content.
The company is also expanding its global research content. Korea Investment & Securities Co., Ltd. recently added exclusive research content from global asset managers Fidelity Investments and PIMCO to its mobile trading system (MTS). The additions are part of a strategic partnership President Kim Seong-hwan signed with the two firms last month.
Building on existing partnerships with Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan, among others, the company has broadened its ties with global financial firms, enabling domestic investors to access a wider range of analysis and investment information on overseas financial markets. Its plan is to strengthen the competitiveness of its research services by providing domestic investors with global asset managers’ market outlooks and investment strategies.
