[Financial News]  It emerged belatedly that the late action actor Kim Hyeon-i died in a traffic accident in August while heading to a film set.

At the end of episode 1 of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama “Doctor X: The Age of the White Mafia” (hereafter “Doctor X”), which aired on the 9th, a message paying tribute to the deceased appeared. The production team displayed the message, “We pay tribute to our cherished colleague, the late Kim Hyeon-i, who ran alongside us,” with “The entire Doctor X production team” written below.

The tvN Saturday-Sunday drama “100 Days of Lies,” which premiered a day later, on the 10th, also paid tribute to Kim Hyeon-i. Near the end of episode 1, it displayed the caption, “We will remember the late action actor Kim Hyeon-i and will never forget.”

The deceased was reportedly involved in a traffic accident in August while traveling to film a project.

According to OSEN, Kim Hyeon-i was a member of the national taekwondo demonstration team and worked to promote taekwondo in countries around the world. Later, while teaching children as an instructor at a taekwondo school, Kim was introduced to stunt work and began working as an action actor as a result.

Kim Hyeon-i performed action scenes in various works, including the films “Victory” (2024), “Escape: Project Silence” (2024), “Dark Nuns” (2025) and “Forbidden Fairytale” (2025).
Kim Hyeon-i reportedly worked as a stand-in for actor Gong Min-jeong in the final episode of ENA’s drama “New Recruit 4: Sabotage,” which ended in September.
