[Financial News] Hana Financial Group is expanding participation by executives and employees in sharing the gift of life through a blood donation campaign that visits its major office buildings. Blood donation vehicles are stationed at the offices so employees can take part easily during work, and advance registration has also reduced waiting times.
According to the financial industry on the 14th, Hana Financial Group is holding the “Love-Sharing Blood Donation Campaign,” bringing together executives and employees from all its group companies to put the value of respecting life into practice and help spread a culture of blood donation. The campaign began at the Myeong-dong and Gangnam offices on the 13th and is being held in relay, continuing today at the Yeouido office and then at the Cheongna office on the 30th.
Hana Financial Group holds regular blood donation campaigns in the first and second halves of every year. For this campaign, it is operating blood donation vehicles at each office building so executives and employees can donate conveniently during working hours. Advance registration, in addition to on-site sign-ups, reduced waiting times. The group encouraged executives and employees to participate voluntarily by providing blood donor certificates and commemorative gifts to those who donated.
Meanwhile, Hana Financial Group continues to carry out a range of community service activities for underprivileged members of local communities. These have included making songpyeon rice cakes for seniors ahead of Chuseok, serving meals to seniors going without meals during heat waves, and making Happiness Boxes for small business owners. In August, it also donated 1,300 Happiness Boxes for the hot summer in the Incheon area, containing cooling bedding, fans, cooling T-shirts, cooling arm sleeves, jellies for replenishing fluids and electrolytes, samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup), instant rice, and other items.
