[Financial News] Koscom Corporation will showcase its fintech capabilities, highlighting a shared platform for token securities and financial-data-based artificial intelligence (AI) services.
Koscom Corporation said on the 13th that it will take part in Korea Fintech Week 2026, held for three days from November 25 to 27 at the aT Center in Yangjae, Seoul, where it will introduce its shared token securities platform, financial-data-based AI services, and support programs for fintech companies.
At the event, the company will unveil a shared platform for securities firms preparing to launch token securities businesses. Drawing on its experience operating IT systems for the capital markets and its blockchain technology, Koscom Corporation has built shared infrastructure to support token securities issuance, account management, and connections with related systems.
The platform is designed to link securities firms’ existing ledgers with blockchain-based distributed ledgers, with a particular focus on reducing the burden of building systems for each firm. The aim is to help securities firms cut the costs and time involved in building their own infrastructure so they can focus on identifying products and developing services.
Koscom Corporation has signed memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with 13 securities firms to collaborate on token securities businesses. It jointly built issuance infrastructure with LG CNS and completed a demonstration at the Korea Securities Depository’s total-quantity management test bed. At the event, it plans to present its experience building and demonstrating the shared platform, along with examples of collaboration among participating organizations.
The company will also showcase analytical services combining financial data and AI. Koscom Corporation provides financial-market price and trading data for stocks, derivatives, and bonds, as well as reference data, supply-and-demand data, and unstructured alternative data. At the event, it will present examples of AI analysis using these data and unveil “K-EFS,” a Korean stock prediction score service launched with LG AI Research.
Koscom Corporation will also offer consultations on support programs for fintech companies. The Financial Cloud Usage Support Program selects 60 companies each year and provides vouchers for cloud services, while D-Testbed selects 30 companies annually and provides data and an environment for analysis and simulation. The programs are intended to help companies validate initial ideas and assess the potential for developing financial services.
“Drawing on our experience operating IT systems for the capital markets and our shared infrastructure, we will support financial companies as they prepare for token securities businesses, and also support AI use of financial data and service development by fintech companies,” said Yoon Chang-hyun, president of Koscom Corporation.
Meanwhile, Korea Fintech Week 2026 is a global fintech expo organized by the Financial Services Commission. This year’s event will be held under the theme “The next era of finance has already begun (Beyond Finance, Into the Future).”
