Yukwoo Checkoff wraps up inaugural “Our Yukwoo National Park Golf Tournament”

[Financial News] The Yukwoo Checkoff Management Committee announced on the 13th that the inaugural “Our Yukwoo National Park Golf Tournament,” which it hosted, had concluded successfully on the 12th at Seojae Park Golf Course in Dalseong-gun, Daegu. The tournament was organized with the Korea Park Golf Federation to promote the appeal of Yukwoo, domestically produced beef that is high in protein and low in fat.
 Around 170 park golf enthusiasts and other participants from across the country competed on the 12th, when the tournament was held. Institutions and leading brands joined as official sponsors, providing sponsored goods worth a total of 33 million won. In addition, the Yukwoo Checkoff grilled and served it on site.
 Jo Jae-seong, chair of the Yukwoo Checkoff, said, “It was a very meaningful occasion to share healthy energy with the public through this national park golf tournament and to widely promote the taste and nutritional value of Our Yukwoo, domestically produced beef and a reliable staple on our tables.” He added, “I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the sponsors’ representatives and all the participants who joined us with such enthusiasm. We will continue to offer a diverse range of programs that bring sports and culture together and foster engagement.”
