[Financial News] A total of 10,240 eyeglass frames and sunglasses will be provided to families of children from vulnerable backgrounds who struggle with the cost of eyewear. Eligible recipients include children in need of protection and adolescents from multicultural families.
On the 13th, ChildFund Korea, a specialized child welfare organization, said that it plans to distribute eyeglass products donated by Eutteum50 Optical, worth 242.06 million won, to families of children from vulnerable backgrounds nationwide.
The support is intended to ease the burden of purchasing goods for families of children facing financial hardship and help children in their daily lives. This is the first time Eutteum50 Optical has donated goods through ChildFund Korea.
Through its domestic medical support program, ChildFund Korea supports children's medical expenses, psychological assessments and therapy. The program also includes improving local pediatric healthcare systems and policies.
Jeong Yeong-gil, CEO of Eutteum50 Optical, said, "I hope this donation will be of some help to families of children who struggle to afford eyewear because of financial hardship."
Sin Jeong-won, head of ChildFund Korea's Social Contribution and Cooperation Headquarters, said, "ChildFund Korea will continue to provide various forms of support so that all children can lead healthy and stable daily lives."
