[Financial News] LG Electronics will showcase a range of innovative technologies at the Korea Electronics Show, from AI home appliances and mobility solutions to AI data center cooling technology, smart factories and key robot components. The company plans to extend AI experiences centered on home appliances to industrial sites and strengthen the competitiveness of its B2B business.
LG Electronics said on the 13th that it will take part in the Korea Electronics Show (KES 2026), running through the 16th at COEX in Gangnam District, Seoul, and operate a 902-square-meter exhibition hall.
The exhibition is organized around the theme “LG Life Layer” and divided into an “Everyday Layer,” representing daily life, and an “Industrial Layer,” showcasing B2B technologies. It brings together new ways of living enabled by AI and innovative solutions for industrial sites.
In the Everyday Layer, home robot CLOiD greets visitors. The company will also introduce its home appliance subscription service, which offers regular expert care, through a range of products including a refrigerated ice water purifier, WashCombo, a dishwasher and a Whisen Tower air conditioner.
At “Villa de Signature,” designed as an ultra-premium living space, the company will showcase products from premium home appliance brands Signature Kitchen Suite (SKS) and LG SIGNATURE. The kitchen features an ice water purifier refrigerator, a wine cellar and an oven, while the living room has an LG SIGNATURE OLED T, a transparent organic light-emitting diode (OLED) TV. A listening area featuring the wireless wallpaper TV LG SIGNATURE OLED W and the LG Sound Suite home audio system has also been set up.
The company will also unveil an AI home solution connecting modular homes and vehicles. LG Electronics will display a new 72-square-meter, single-story modular home, the LG Smart Cottage, alongside its AI mobility solution, Spielraum. Using the AI home hub LG ThinQ ON, visitors can see how the technology connects living spaces and mobility, such as by preheating an oven installed in a vehicle from home or remotely controlling home appliances from the vehicle.
The Industrial Layer will focus on key technologies in B2B businesses, including AI data centers, smart factories, robotics and automotive solutions. In the AI data center field, the company will present a comprehensive “Chip-to-Chiller” cooling solution encompassing chillers, coolant distribution units (CDUs) and cold plates that directly absorb heat from semiconductors. Drawing on about 60 years of accumulated heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) expertise, LG Electronics will showcase liquid-cooling technology to address heat generated by AI data centers.
The smart factory exhibition space recreates a future manufacturing environment combining AI, digital twins and robotics.
The company will also showcase actuator technology, a key component in robots. LG Electronics will explain how its motor technology, which originated with Direct Drive (DD) motors for washing machines, has expanded into actuators that move robot joints. Visitors can see how the technology works through the home robot CLOiD and AXIUM, the company’s actuator brand for robots.
