[Financial News] Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. is looking to expand AI experiences in everyday life by showcasing new home appliances, mobile devices and displays incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) technology in one place.
Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. announced on the 13th that it will take part in 'Korea Electronics Show (KES 2026),' which runs through the 16th at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and operate an experience space spanning approximately 869 square meters (263 pyeong).
The exhibition gives visitors the chance to experience firsthand AI technologies applied to a range of products, including displays, home appliances and mobile devices.
At the entrance to the exhibition hall, media art linking a total of 28 foldable smartphones—including the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Fold8 and Flip8—with 'Project Luna,' a lighting sculpture symbolizing Samsung's AI ecosystem, was installed.
A Micro RGB display opposite it showcases ultra-high definition, color reproduction and contrast technologies. Fourteen works by artists inspired by Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. products are also being shown on OLED TVs.
The AI home appliance experience area features the Bespoke AI Family Hub refrigerator and Bespoke AI Combo washer-dryer, among other products. Visitors can try the AI Food Manager, which recognizes and manages ingredients using an internal refrigerator camera, and AI Customized+, which automatically adjusts washing intensity and drying temperature based on the condition of the laundry.
The mobile experience area features the latest Galaxy products, including the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Fold8 and Flip8; Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Watch9; Galaxy Tab S 12; Galaxy Buds On; and Galaxy SmartTag3.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra enhances multitasking with the thinnest design in the Galaxy Z Fold series to date and a large screen. The Galaxy Z Fold8 features a new aspect ratio and, at 201 grams, is the lightest Fold device to date. Visitors can also try the Galaxy Buds On, clip-on wireless earbuds designed to be worn lightly without blocking the ears.
Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. will also use a dedicated Heritage Zone to showcase the evolution of its foldable smartphones since the first Galaxy Fold was launched in 2019. The exhibition also features the New Galaxy AI Subscription Club, which offers coverage for damage, loss and water damage to mobile products, as well as residual value guarantees.
Lim Seong-taek, a vice president overseeing Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.'s Korea operations, said, "The exhibition has been designed to give visitors a more vivid sense of how AI technology makes people's lives more convenient and enriching in everyday life." He added, "Subscription services for a range of products, from mobile devices to home appliances, also let people experience a more convenient AI lifestyle."
