[Financial News] Golden Blue International held an event featuring its global ambassador to broaden consumer engagement with its premium sherry-finished whisky, Nomad Outland.
Since this year, Golden Blue has been running the offline relay project “Guerrilla Nomad Campaign,” visiting major bars in different regions to boost awareness of Nomad and expand engagement with consumers in their 20s and 30s. Following Mapo-gu, Seoul, in July, it selected Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, as the hub for its second campaign and planned the event there.
At the event held on the 8th at Babamba in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Nomad’s global brand ambassador, João Vicente, visited Korea and took to the bar as a bartender. Going beyond simply serving cocktails, João Vicente spoke directly with customers at the venue and introduced Nomad’s distinctive maturation process and brand philosophy. He then unveiled two signature cocktails that brought out the whisky’s characteristically rich sherry aroma.
Babamba also unveiled two cocktails it had developed using Nomad as the base.
Ahead of the event, Golden Blue invited around 20 bartenders from major establishments in the Yeongdeungpo-gu area and held a separate Nomad master class.
In addition to this offline event, the company plans to start giving a dedicated glass to customers who purchase Nomad through major smart-order services in October, naturally bringing the brand experience from offline venues into consumers’ everyday lives.
