IPARK Hyundai Development Company said on the 12th that it had conducted on-site measurements of floor-impact sound in every unit at Gangbyeon Station Central IPARK and reviewed the results for each unit.
The complex recorded levels below statutory standards for both lightweight and heavyweight floor-impact noise in a performance inspection conducted by the Korea Authority of Land & Infrastructure Safety.
IPARK Hyundai Development Company conducted additional on-site measurements across all units even after the statutory inspection. This enabled it to assess the complex-wide inter-floor noise performance as well as differences between individual units. Measuring every unit makes it possible to use data to check the overall distribution of performance across the complex and variations by building and floor.
The measurements used a commercialized measurement and analysis system developed through the AI Application Product Rapid Commercialization Support Program (AX-SPRINT), promoted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and overseen by the Korea Agency for Infrastructure Technology Advancement (KAIA).
IPARK Hyundai Development Company identified factors that could reduce performance and checked inspection items at each stage as processes such as design, materials, construction and verification were completed. Its goal is to improve the finished quality before move-ins get fully underway.
Starting with its Gangbyeon Station Central IPARK site, IPARK Hyundai Development Company plans to roll out a system at sites nationwide, including in Cheonan, Gonjiam and Iksan, that can demonstrate residential performance based on data from every unit.
