[Financial News] CERAGEM Co., Ltd. is expanding the settings where consumers can experience its healthcare appliances, including airport lounges, resorts and residential culture spaces. Moving beyond its traditional focus on experience-oriented stores, the company is broadening its consumer touchpoints so people can try its products in a range of everyday settings, including while traveling, relaxing and at home. In particular, it is focusing on securing new venues through partnerships with companies in other industries.
According to industry sources on the 12th, CERAGEM Co., Ltd. recently installed healthcare appliances in Runner’s House, a running lifestyle space at The Sharp Gallery, a housing and culture center. The space, which will operate through the 8th of next month, combines the residential environment with rest, recovery and health management before and after running.
The living room features the Pauze M8 Fit Art Edition massage chair, while the study has a Celtron Circulation Chair. The company has set up a ReFlex Massage Sofa Bed in the spare room, where it can be used as a sofa or massage bed. It has also installed products for hydration and skincare in the kitchen and powder room, respectively. The space is designed to let consumers experience how the products can be used in an environment similar to an actual home.
Airport lounges are also being used as key experience spaces.
In partnership with Korean Air, CERAGEM Co., Ltd. has added 13 healthcare appliances to the First Class Lounge and Prestige Class Lounge (West) at Terminal 2 of Incheon International Airport. This brings the total to 32 products across Korean Air’s four Terminal 2 lounges, including Miler Club and the Prestige Class Lounge (East).
Since 2023, CERAGEM Co., Ltd. has installed healthcare appliances in major Korean Air lounges at Terminal 1 of Incheon International Airport. Last year, it expanded its airport experience spaces in stages, placing 19 units in Miler Club and the Prestige Class Lounge (East) at Terminal 2. The aim is to let travelers about to take or just finishing long flights use spinal-care medical devices and massage chairs while waiting.
The company is also expanding its partnerships with lodging facilities. CERAGEM Co., Ltd. signed a business agreement with The Heaven Resort on Daebu Island in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, and created four wellness rooms equipped with its healthcare appliances. Spinal-care medical devices, massage chairs and skincare devices have been placed in the suites and Royal Suites, allowing guests to enjoy a getaway while also taking care of their health.
The two companies plan to work together on wellness facility development, service operations and joint marketing, among other areas. The partnership is significant in that it explores a business model combining lodging and leisure services, going beyond conventional product-experience spaces.
The company’s own experience facilities are also changing. Last August, CERAGEM Co., Ltd. rebranded about 110 Well Cafés nationwide as membership-based Well Lounges. It expanded the facilities’ functions so visitors can try a range of health management programs, including spinal care, circulation, exercise and skincare. It is also broadening its customer base and touchpoints through Wells Club, which targets senior customers, and experience spaces in department stores and multi-purpose shopping malls.
A CERAGEM Co., Ltd. representative said, “We are expanding the spaces where consumers can experience healthcare products firsthand, adapting them to different residential environments and lifestyles,” adding, “We will continue to broaden our consumer touchpoints through partnerships across a range of industries.”
