POSCO E&C to Accept Applications on the 12th for Officetels at ‘The Sharp Osan Station Arc City’

[The Financial News] POSCO E&C is launching sales of residential officetels in Segyo 2 District in Osan, Gyeonggi Province.
POSCO E&C said it will accept applications for officetels at The Sharp Osan Station Arc City on the 12th. The units on offer are part of a 977-unit mixed-use complex that also includes 897 apartments, for which tenant recruitment was completed in a short period, and large-scale commercial facilities.
The complex is located on Block M1 in Segyo 2 District, Osan, Gyeonggi Province. It will comprise 90 units, each with 84 sq. m of exclusive area, in a building with four basement levels and up to 33 floors above ground. The homes are laid out in residential floor plans popular with end-users, with 60 units of Type 84m2OA and 30 of Type 84m2OB.
Applications will be accepted for one day, on the 12th, followed by the announcement of successful applicants on the 15th and official contract signing on the 16th. Anyone aged 19 or older who resides in Korea can apply, regardless of whether they have a housing subscription account, their place of residence, or whether they own a home. There is also no separate restriction on reselling the purchase rights.
The project also stands out for its exceptional terms, designed to ease the financial burden. Prices for all unit types are set at attractive levels in the low-to-mid 400 million won range. A 5% contract deposit, with the first payment set at a flat 5 million won, and interest-free financing on the full interim payment amount will help minimize buyers’ financial burden until move-in.
The complex’s excellent location and transport links are also strengths. Osan Station on Subway Line 1 is approximately 600 meters away, and access is expected to improve further with a new connecting road to the station planned for the future. Commuting is also convenient to nearby high-tech industrial complexes, including Dongtan Techno Valley, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.’s Hwaseong Campus, and Suwon Digital City, supporting strong demand for homes close to workplaces. The complex is also expected to benefit as a residential area serving the future Yongin Advanced System Semiconductor National Industrial Complex.
The area also offers a wealth of everyday amenities. Convenience and cultural facilities, including E-Mart, Lotte Mart, CGV, and Osan Sports Complex, are nearby, and educational facilities include Osan Elementary School, Gasu Middle School, and Osan High School.
