[Financial News] Samsung Asset Management is moving to strengthen communication with the National Pension Service by establishing a base in Jeonju.
Samsung Asset Management announced on the 12th that it had held an opening ceremony for its Jeonju office in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, and begun full-scale operations.
Located near the National Pension Service’s Fund Management Headquarters, the Jeonju office was set up on the 28th of last month and began operations on the 1st of this month. Samsung Active Asset Management and Samsung SRA Asset Management have also moved in, and the office is set to serve as a collaboration hub where the companies can bring their respective expertise together.
Samsung Asset Management plans to make the Jeonju office a key hub for expanding its on-the-ground engagement with the National Pension Service and strengthening ongoing communication, further enhancing practical collaboration. It also plans to quickly identify customers’ investment needs and market changes on the ground and respond promptly, while working closely with specialist teams at its Seoul headquarters in investment management, research and products to provide more tailored services.
In particular, Samsung Asset Management will combine its investment management capabilities, built up in traditional assets such as equities and bonds, with its affiliates’ expertise in active and alternative investments to offer a broad range of investment solutions spanning traditional and alternative assets. The company expects this will enable it to respond more comprehensively to the National Pension Service’s diverse investment management needs.
