[Financial News] The Sharp Gallery, POSCO E&C’s housing culture exhibition center, is being transformed into a wellness space that combines running with recovery in everyday life.
POSCO E&C said on the 12th that it will hold a month-long “Runner’s House (RUNNER’S HOUSE)” pop-up event through Nov. 8 at The Sharp Gallery in Jagok-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, spotlighting runners’ lifestyles.
The event, themed “RUN·RECOVER·LIVE,” was organized to propose a new residential paradigm combining living spaces and wellness in response to the recent sharp rise in urban runners. It is designed as an immersive model home where runners can experience “complete recovery at home,” beyond the passion they feel on the track.
The exhibition space is designed around five stages that run through a runner’s daily life: running → home → reset → recovery → rest. Leading wellness brands from Korea and abroad, including LG Electronics, CERAGEM Co., Ltd., Garmin and ANDAR, are taking part in large numbers to showcase differentiated recovery solutions.
LG Electronics will offer smart clothing-care solutions, from washing sweat-soaked running gear to caring for performance apparel. CERAGEM Co., Ltd. will introduce at-home relaxation routines using healthcare devices that provide heat therapy for the spine and body and help relieve fatigue. Garmin will offer an experience in analyzing running data with precision GPS smartwatches and designing personalized training plans. ANDAR will showcase a curated selection of specialized running shoes and performance socks tailored to running needs and individual conditions. In addition, a range of participatory wellness programs—including an art exhibition (Oct. 22–Nov. 1), rooftop yoga, singing bowl sound baths and cinema music curation—will be held in weekly rotations in the special exhibition hall and auditorium on the fourth floor. A “Family Day” (Oct. 24) for parents and children, and a “Finale Day” (Nov. 8) bringing all the programs together, are also planned.
A social media event for visitors will also be held. Participants who post three mission entries—proof of their visit, a brand experience and running records—to their personal Instagram accounts by Nov. 8, when the event ends, will be entered in a prize draw for an array of gifts, including smartwatches and running shoes.
A representative of The Sharp Gallery said, “This project aims to serve as a lifestyle platform for modern people who design and put healthy lives into practice for themselves,” adding, “We hope many customers will experience firsthand at The Sharp Gallery a smart home recovery routine that brings running and complete relaxation into harmony.”
Meanwhile, visits to the Runner’s House model home and participation in its main session programs require advance reservations through Naver Booking.
