[Financial News] GS Engineering & Construction CEO Heo Yun-hong stressed that the company would expand practical support for its partner companies and continue mutual prosperity and shared growth through ethical management and communication.
CEO Heo said this at Grand Partners Fiesta 2026, held on the 12th at The Westin Seoul Parnas in Samseong-dong, Seoul, saying, “The growth of our partners is the growth of GS Engineering & Construction.” He added, “We will actively adopt advanced technologies, including physical AI, to create safer and more competitive worksites, and lead the future of the construction industry together with our partners.”
Grand Partners Fiesta is one of GS Engineering & Construction’s flagship events promoting mutual growth and cooperation, and has been held since 2004. The event has used its current name since 2024, reflecting the aim of creating a place where GS Engineering & Construction and its partners can grow together and communicate.
At this year’s event, GS Engineering & Construction shared with its partner companies ways to apply advanced technologies, including physical AI, at construction sites, as well as approaches to strengthening the construction industry’s future competitiveness. The company’s executives and partner-company representatives freely exchanged views on ways to use robots at construction sites and expand their use.
GS Engineering & Construction operates various programs to promote shared growth with its partner companies, including a “Partnership Package” and support for the cost of assigning dedicated safety-management personnel. Since 2021, it has operated a fair-competition bidding system to help partners secure adequate profits and maintain business stability, while also focusing on strengthening their quality and safety capabilities.
To support its partner companies’ management stability and strengthen their competitiveness, GS Engineering & Construction operates an annual interest-free management support fund worth 15 billion won and a win-win fund worth 30 billion won. A company spokesperson said, “We will continue to create a business environment where our partners can demonstrate their capabilities to the fullest and strengthen a sustainable shared-growth system based on safety and technological innovation.”
