[Financial News] KT will launch in December its integrated artificial intelligence (AI) service, ‘AI for All,’ which it is developing in partnership with 17 domestic companies. The plan is to connect Korean AI technologies and services across fields ranging from search to education, finance and content, providing users with an integrated AI experience.
On the 12th, KT held the ‘AI for All Connect Summit 2026’ at KT Gwanghwamun Building West in Jongno-gu, Seoul. KT CEO Park Yoon-young, representatives of consortium member companies and other senior executives attended to review preparations for the beta service set to begin this month and the full service launch in December, and to discuss ways to expand cooperation.
Seventeen companies, including KT, Daum, Upstage Co., Ltd., Saltlux, EBS, BC Card, Zigbang, ConnectWave, Musinsa, ActionPower, Mathpresso, DeepSearch, Rebellions, Lablup Inc., VESSL AI, Motif Technologies and NC AI, took part in the event, held under the theme ‘From Connection to Action.’
‘AI for All’ is a service that brings together domestically developed AI models owned by consortium members and services closely connected to everyday life on a single platform. It aims to link services across fields such as search, education, finance, content and real estate, allowing users to access AI features without switching between multiple platforms.
In the early stages, the service will focus on identifying users’ intent and providing suitable answers, as well as explaining everyday information in an easy-to-understand way. Users will be able to ask natural-language questions about the weather and other daily information, stocks, people and content.
The participating companies reviewed the implementation status of the services currently in development and discussed ways to improve them ahead of the full launch in December. After launch, they plan to enhance the service features in stages and expand integrations with companies in various fields.
The consortium also agreed to strengthen its open collaboration framework to expand the AI ecosystem. KT plans to support links between companies’ services through its platform and infrastructure, and to help new companies join the consortium. The aim is to build an ecosystem in which AI models, platforms, data and services grow together.
KT CEO Park Yoon-young said, “We will work and communicate more closely with participating companies to provide people with a seamless AI experience in their daily lives and contribute to the sustained growth of Korea’s AI ecosystem.”
