[Financial News] Classys has created a chief business officer (CCO) position to expand its global business and appointed Vice President Bae Jung-hee, a former partner at Bain & Company (pictured), to the role. The company plans to integrate its sales and marketing teams to strengthen its push into key overseas markets and data-driven business operations, and accelerate efforts to meet its $1 billion revenue target for 2030.
Classys said on the 12th that it had appointed Bae as CCO and head of its GTM (go-to-market strategy) Center.
Following CEO Yoon Jun-o’s appointment last July, Classys reorganized the company, bringing its marketing division and domestic and overseas sales divisions together under the GTM Center. Bae will lead the integrated organization, align sales and marketing strategies, and drive global business expansion.
After graduating from Korea University, Bae worked at LG CNS, Monitor Group and Deloitte Consulting before serving as a partner at Bain & Company. She earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and worked on brand launches, expansion into emerging markets and distribution network development in around 30 countries. Most recently, she led Bain’s artificial intelligence (AI) and digital strategy division.
With Bae’s appointment, Classys plans to expand its presence in major markets, including the Americas, China and Europe, and advance its data- and AI-driven sales and marketing systems. It will also work to strengthen the competitiveness of its domestic business.
Classys is a medical aesthetics device company whose products include the SHURINK Universe focused ultrasound (HIFU) device and the VOLNEWMER monopolar radiofrequency (RF) device. Overseas sales account for approximately 76% of its revenue, and the company is targeting $1 billion in revenue by 2030.
