[Financial News]  A resident’s account of having trouble getting through a shared apartment hallway because a neighbor had spread out large quantities of peppers to dry has come to light. Only enough space for one person to squeeze through remained in the hallway.
A resident’s story about the inconvenience caused by a neighbor drying peppers in a shared hallway was featured on JTBC’s “Case Leader,” which aired on the 7th. The tipster shared photos taken at the time, saying, “As soon as I opened my front door, my nose started stinging. I wondered what was going on, and then I saw that they’d spread peppers all across the shared hallway.”
The photos show a large quantity of peppers spread out in a long stretch along one wall of the hallway. With peppers covering most of the floor, the space residents could use to pass through had narrowed to just enough for one person to squeeze by.
After the photos were made public, online users criticized the neighbor for occupying a hallway shared by several households for personal use. Others also expressed concern about the pepper smell and the difficulty of getting through.
Some online users said they couldn’t understand why anyone would spread peppers out in a shared hallway. They left comments such as, “I’ve seen people drying them outside, but this is a first,” “How are we supposed to get rid of that pepper smell? It’s a nuisance,” and “What are they supposed to do if someone does that in the apartment’s shared entrance? Forget the inconvenience—the smell is the worst.”
