[Financial News] Inje University Busan Paik Hospital (Director Yang Jae-uk) has introduced an AlimTalk service that notifies patients of in-hospital pharmacy dispensing status for the convenience of outpatients, and has begun full-scale operations.
After a prescription is issued, the first AlimTalk notification is sent once the patient has completed payment. Patients can use the notifications to check each stage of the dispensing process: prescription confirmed, medication being prepared, ready for pickup, and picked up.
A second AlimTalk notification is sent once the medication has been prepared and is ready for pickup. The notification also provides an estimated wait time, helping patients and their caregivers make efficient use of the time by taking care of necessary tasks or resting instead of waiting unnecessarily outside the pharmacy.
Busan Paik Hospital also operates a one-touch AlimTalk service, “Baek Ttokttok,” to help patients easily access information they need during their hospital visits. The service offers a range of features, including dispensing status, real-time surgery progress, discharge status, discharge bill inquiries, indemnity health insurance claims, test result inquiries, parking registration, and appointment booking and cancellation.
This service for updates on in-hospital pharmacy dispensing is also available through “Baek Ttokttok,” and Busan Paik Hospital plans to continue expanding its personalized digital services for patients.
