[Financial News] On Hospital in Busan (Hospital Director Kim Dong-heon) said on the 11th that it had successfully completed the Mongolian Doctors Training Program for local Mongolian medical professionals and held a completion ceremony on the 10th.
On Hospital’s training program ran from September 28 through the 10th of this month and was conducted for 15 doctors from local Mongolian hospitals—including Sukhbaatar General Hospital, Chingeltei District Hospital, and Sukhbaatar District Health Center—working in a range of fields, including colorectal surgery, internal medicine, medical oncology, cardiology, critical care medicine, and neurology.
The Mongolian trainees stayed at On Hospital for two weeks, gaining practical medical skills and knowledge of systems related to advanced endoscopy and treatment, robotic surgery, patient safety management, and infection prevention.
At the completion ceremony, On Hospital founder Director Jeong Geun (director of Jeong Geun Eye Hospital) stressed, “Although it was a short time, the trainees’ enthusiasm and eagerness to learn deeply moved On Hospital’s medical staff as well,” adding, “I hope the skills and experience they learned in Korea will go a long way toward protecting the health of the Mongolian people.”
The founder also expressed his deep gratitude to Consul Jadamba of the Consulate of Mongolia in Busan for supporting the training in various ways.
On Hospital and the Green Doctors Foundation, an international medical volunteer organization, plan to use this training as an opportunity to continue exchanges and cooperation with Mongolia’s healthcare sector and take the lead in advancing healthcare in both countries.
