[Financial News] Digital dentistry specialist DIO Implant will unveil the first artificial intelligence (AI)-based AI transformation (AX) platform in South Korea’s implant industry.
DIO said on the 9th that it will hold the DIO International Meeting (DIM) 2026 at the COEX Auditorium and Grand Ballroom in Seoul from the 10th to the 11th, and unveil a new direction for the evolution of digital dentistry centered on AI.

The technology is an AX platform that combines at least 1.2 million clinical data records with AI technology to connect the entire implant treatment process in a single “workflow.” It was also co-developed using AI technology from LG CNS.
The key is to go beyond simply applying AI functions to individual treatment stages and connect the entire process—from verifying and analyzing diagnostic data to design, implant placement planning and guide generation—in a single AI-powered workflow. This can improve the connectivity and automation of tasks previously performed in separate stages and reduce repetitive work for medical professionals.
The goal is to boost the productivity and efficiency of care by supporting data-based clinical decision-making. Ultimately, the plan is to provide medical professionals with a more efficient care environment and patients with a more consistent and efficient treatment experience.
At DIM 2026, DIO will unveil for the first time the specific technologies behind DIO AX and how they may be applied in implant treatment settings in the future. DIO plans to complete technical validation by the end of the first quarter of next year, then apply the platform with existing customers and validate its market potential before sequentially commercializing and monetizing features as they complete validation.
The unveiling of DIO’s AX platform is significant because it expands the company’s digital dentistry strategy beyond “digital transformation” to “AI transformation.” DIO has pursued the digitization of treatment processes—including diagnosis, treatment planning and implant placement—through its digital implant system, DIO Navi. Its strategy is to incorporate AI to connect the individual stages of digital care and develop an AX-based care environment that puts the data accumulated along the way back to use in treatment.
“DIO AX is a new starting point for connecting individual stages of implant treatment in a single intelligent workflow by combining at least 1.2 million clinical data records with AI technology,” a DIO representative said. “By combining AI with the clinical experience and data accumulated through digital dentistry, we will lead the AX transformation of the implant care environment in a way that boosts the efficiency of care for medical professionals and improves the treatment experience for patients.”
