[Financial News] YBM is joining forces with Yeungjin College to help students strengthen their practical IT and foreign-language skills. As young people continue to face the burden of job-preparation costs amid persistently high prices, practical benefits such as reduced fees for essential certification exams for university students are expected to expand.
YBM announced on the 8th that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Yeungjin College to foster global talent.
The signing ceremony was held on the 7th in a meeting room at the main building of Yeungjin College’s Bokhyeon Campus in Buk-gu, Daegu. Attendees included key representatives of both institutions, including YBM Executive Vice President Ha Geum-su and Yeungjin College Vice President Park Jong-baek.
Under the agreement, YBM will offer a range of programs for Yeungjin College students, including discounts on fees for regular MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist), TOEIC and TOEIC Speaking tests.
Yeungjin College currently uses MOS and language test scores in key campus programs, including its Global Point system and graduation certification scheme. The agreement is therefore expected to help improve students’ job-market competitiveness while easing their financial burden.
YBM Executive Vice President Ha Geum-su said, “IT and foreign-language skills are important competitive advantages that create more opportunities not only during university life but also as students prepare for their careers and jobs. We will continue to provide a range of support to help Yeungjin College students build their IT and foreign-language skills through this agreement and grow into globally competitive talent.”
