[Financial News]  Sungshin Women's University said on the 8th that its Graduate School of Convergence Security is accepting applications through the 15th for new students in its spring 2027 master's, doctoral and integrated master's-doctoral programs.
The Graduate School of Convergence Security is an educational institution that trains information security professionals in national strategic technology fields, including autonomous driving, artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud computing. It runs educational programs through government-supported talent development initiatives and research and development (R&D) projects, enabling students to directly study security issues in industry.
Students can take part in research projects and industry-academia collaboration activities with companies and public institutions. Support is also provided for research facilities and equipment, participation in academic conferences in Korea and abroad, research for academic papers and patents, and overseas training.
The school also offers a special technology-protection admissions track for employees of companies. Eligible applicants include employees of companies that possess national core technologies, companies in the semiconductor, manufacturing and IT sectors, information security firms and security companies. Those admitted through this track receive a special scholarship covering 30% of tuition each semester.
Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. on the 15th, and supporting documents by 5 p.m. on the 16th. In-person interviews are scheduled for November 7, with admission results to be announced on December 8. The admissions guidelines and eligibility requirements are available on the Sungshin Women's University Graduate School of Convergence Security website.
