[Financial News] A virtual asset exchange has created a typeface. On trading screens dominated by numbers and charts, fonts appear throughout the interface, making them the elements that most often showcase the brand. To mark the 100th anniversary of Hangul Day, Bithumb is filling this touchpoint with its own typeface and making it freely available to the public.  According to the virtual asset industry on the 8th, Bithumb has released two brand-specific fonts, Bithumb Gothic, for free to celebrate Hangul Day. They can be downloaded at no charge from the company’s website. The fonts were developed to provide customers with a consistent brand experience through typefaces that reflect Bithumb’s identity.
The two fonts being released are Bithumb Gothic Original and Bithumb Gothic Basic. They reflect the “stability” and “reliability” that Bithumb strives for. Their substantial strokes and well-balanced visual weight portray a trading environment built on a solid foundation. The tightly packed, square letterforms embody Bithumb’s core values of transparency and clarity.
Feedback from within the company was also actively incorporated during development. In response to employees’ requests for a font that could be used more widely, Bithumb made fine adjustments to elements such as its slant and weight.
After the release, Bithumb plans to apply Bithumb Gothic across a range of related operations, including external events, its official YouTube channel and various partnership services. The company aims to continue expanding a consistent brand experience through the font. Bithumb also plans to register both Bithumb Gothic fonts as free fonts on the font platform Noonnu.
A Bithumb representative said, “It is especially meaningful to introduce the Bithumb typeface at such a significant moment as the 100th anniversary of Hangul Day,” adding, “Along with providing users with useful typefaces, we will continue to develop a range of fonts so they can experience our brand.”
Bithumb has recently been taking steps both to improve its services for users and to rebuild trust. Last month, it launched Bithumb AI, an artificial intelligence (AI)-based virtual asset market analysis service. It comprises four offerings: AI Stock Signals, AI Stock Analysis, AI Daily Market Briefing and AI Suggested Questions. Of these, AI Stock Signals analyzes six technical and social indicators every hour to provide short-term upward and downward signals and an overall score. That same month, Bithumb ranked No. 1 in the virtual asset exchange category at the 2026 Brand of the Year Awards for the second consecutive year.
