[Financial News] Meritz Securities is expanding its premium wealth management (WM) presence as it moves to strengthen its retail business.
According to the financial investment industry on the 8th, Meritz Securities rebranded its existing PIB Gangnam Center as the “PIB Prestige (PRESTIGE) Center” and opened the renamed center at a new location. Major executives, including Meritz Securities co-CEOs Kim Jong-min and Jang Won-jae, attended the opening ceremony held on the 28th of last month.
The PIB Prestige Center moved last August from the Gangnam Finance Center (GFC) in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul, to a standalone building in the Cheongdam area. It is expanding its comprehensive family office services for high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients, with specialists in each field providing services ranging from asset management to tax, legal and succession solutions.
The heads of Meritz Securities’ PIB Prestige Center, Ko Jae-pil and Choi Moon-hee, said, “We will continue to offer multifaceted support and differentiated product lineups to maximize value for premium clients.”
Meanwhile, Meritz Securities launched its PIB Center structure in April last year to target the high-net-worth individual and retail corporate markets. The PIB Center at the company’s headquarters at IFC in Yeouido serves retail corporate clients, while the PIB Gangnam Center, established at the GFC in Yeoksam-dong at the time, has provided wealth management services primarily to high-net-worth individuals.
