Nonsan’s Naedong to get new apartments for the first time in 10 years... ‘Elif Nonsan The Edition’ to go on sale in November

[Financial News] A new apartment complex will be supplied in Naedong, Nonsan, South Chungcheong Province, for the first time in about 10 years.
According to Gyeryong Construction on the 8th, 499 units at ‘Elif Nonsan The Edition’ in Naedong District 3 will go on sale in November. Burin Development is the commissioning entity, Korea Asset Trust is the project operator, and Gyeryong Construction will handle construction.
The complex will comprise eight buildings, with three basement levels and 26 floors above ground. All 499 units will have an exclusive-use area of 84 square meters. It will be the first apartment complex in Nonsan by Gyeryong Construction to feature the Elif brand.
Naedong District 3, where the complex will be built, is an urban development project site adjacent to Naedong Districts 1 and 2. It is considered a highly desirable residential area, as it is part of Nonsan’s urban district and offers access to administrative, educational, and commercial facilities.
Transport options include KTX Nonsan Station and the Nonsan Bus Terminal. Nonsan IC and West Nonsan IC provide access to the Nonsan–Cheonan Expressway and Honam Expressway. Work is also underway on the Honam Line speed-improvement project, which is scheduled to open in 2034, and transport conditions are expected to improve further.
The area’s abundant everyday amenities are also noteworthy. Nearby are Homeplus, Hanaro Mart, CJ CGV, Nonsan City Hall, and Baekje General Hospital. Green spaces and places to relax include Gwanchok Urban Natural Park, Citizens’ Family Park, and Tapjeong Lake.
The area also offers a strong educational environment. Nonsan High School is in front of the complex, while Naedong Elementary School, within walking distance, and Nonsan Girls’ Commercial High School are also nearby. Residents can also use a nearby multi-purpose cultural center and the academies in Naedong’s commercial district.
The area’s development prospects are also expected to boost its future value. The Nonsan National Defense Industrial Complex, covering about 870,000 square meters, is being developed in the Dongsan-ri and Jukbon-ri areas of Yeonmu-eup, Nonsan, near the complex, with completion targeted for 2029. A ‘multi-purpose sports park’ (provisional name), to be built about 400 meters from the complex, will include various sports facilities such as tennis courts, a multi-purpose track, and a lawn plaza, with completion also targeted for 2029.
The hotel-grade community facilities and distinctive design features also stand out. Planned amenities include a fitness center, hot and cold baths, a dry sauna, and a GDR golf practice facility. The fitness center will be equipped with MATRIX and VISION workout machines, and the study-café brand Jakshim is also expected to open a location.
Plans also include a glamping area featuring a sand playground and a kids’ water lounge with ground-level fountains and a water playground. All parking will be underground to keep vehicles off the surface, with about 1.43 parking spaces provided per household.
Each unit will have storage space, including a large dressing room and a pantry. Some units will also feature an alpha room and an expanded three-sided balcony design.
