[Financial News] SK chemicals has set a mid- to long-term financial target of achieving revenue of 2.8 trillion won and operating profit of 320 billion won by 2030.
According to the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure system DART on the 8th, SK chemicals disclosed that day its mid- to long-term business growth strategy, financial targets and shareholder return policy.
SK chemicals plans to achieve revenue of 2.8 trillion won and operating profit of 320 billion won by 2030, and to raise its operating margin to 11%. It set targets of at least 10% each for return on invested capital (ROIC) and return on equity (ROE). These financial targets exclude its listed subsidiary SK bioscience.
By business segment, SK chemicals will expand its high-value-added product range in copolyester and monomers, while expanding its business and improving profitability in functional materials by leveraging cost competitiveness. In recycling, it will pursue a return to profitability, establish a recycling-as-a-service (RaaS) revenue model and expand its global production bases. In pharmaceuticals, it plans to improve marketing productivity and expand its presence in internal medicine.
SK chemicals also outlined its shareholder return policy, targeting a total shareholder return ratio of at least 30% by 2028.
