[Financial News] Lotte ON, Lotte Shopping Co., Ltd.’s e-commerce platform, is taking part in the National Excellent Market Expo to help traditional-market merchants expand their online sales channels.
According to industry sources on the 8th, Lotte ON will take part in the “2026 National Excellent Market Expo in Gongju,” held at Art Center Goma in Gongju, South Chungcheong Province, through the 11th. At the event, it will promote the Onnuri Coexistence Store and recruit small-business sellers.
The National Excellent Market Expo showcases outstanding products from traditional markets and promotes the competitiveness of local markets. This year, around 100 markets and merchants’ associations are taking part and meeting consumers in person. At its promotional booth, Lotte ON will provide information on selling traditional-market products online and how to join the Onnuri Coexistence Store, and recruit sellers from among merchants interested in joining.
Lotte ON is also continuing to support sales through live commerce. The company has taken part in a government program supporting small businesses with broadcast production and operations, and through August this year has featured products from around 30 small and medium-sized businesses on OnLive. Building on this experience, it will hold a special live broadcast at the expo in Gongju on the 9th.
The Onnuri Coexistence Store, launched by Lotte ON last year, is a sales platform designed to help traditional markets and small businesses expand their online sales channels. As of early this year, around 950 traditional markets had joined, and the average monthly transaction value at participating stores had risen by about 170% compared with the platform’s early operating period.
“Through the National Excellent Market Expo, we hope to meet traditional-market merchants and consumers in person and provide an opportunity for traditional-market products to reach new customers online as well,” said Lee Jeong-ju, head of Lotte ON’s Win-Win Cooperation Team. “We will continue to support small businesses in expanding their online sales channels and boosting sales through the Onnuri Coexistence Store and OnLive,” Lee added.
