[Financial News] Hana Securities is launching Shopping Rewards, a new service that links shopping with investing.
According to Hana Securities on the 7th, Shopping Rewards lets users earn Star Points when they shop at affiliated online stores such as Coupang, Market Kurly, Gmarket and Trip.com through the Hana Securities V app. Users earn Star Points worth 3% of the payment amount at Coupang and 4% at Market Kurly.
Star Points can be redeemed through Hana Securities’ points service for various investment benefits, including stock-purchase coupons. Users can earn up to 100,000 points per day, which are credited within 30 or 60 days of a purchase, depending on each partner’s terms. Users can check pending points in the Shopping Rewards service.
To mark the service launch, Hana Securities is also running an event through December 6. The first 10,000 customers who use Shopping Rewards and enter the event will receive a stock-purchase coupon worth 5,000 won. In addition, a weekly drawing during the event will award one share of Samsung Electronics stock to one Shopping Rewards user.
Cho Dae-heon, head of Hana Securities’ AI Digital Strategy Division, said, “Shopping Rewards is a service that links shopping and finance so that everyday spending can lead to investment. We will continue to expand our lifestyle-focused partnerships and benefits so customers can enjoy new investment experiences through Hana Securities V.”
