[Financial News] After Nuri was placed into its intended orbit on its fifth launch, all 15 satellites successfully separated.
Nuri launched for the fifth time as scheduled at 12:25 p.m. on the 7th from the Naro Space Center in Goheung, South Jeolla Province. At around 12:41 p.m., all five NEONSAT primary payload satellites successfully separated, followed by the completion of separation of the 10 CubeSat secondary payloads at around 12:42 p.m.
Nuri’s flight is expected to last a total of 19 minutes and 45 seconds, until around 1 p.m. The launch results, including satellite communications, are expected to be confirmed around 2 p.m.
The five primary payload microsatellites will precisely monitor the Korean Peninsula, while the CubeSats are expected to explore the space environment through experiments involving space medicines and industrial components, as well as observations of the space radiation environment and Earth’s magnetic field.
