According to Ssangyong Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. on the 7th, the company will officially open the model home for “Ssangyong The Platinum Hangang,” being built in the area of Yongdam-ri, Yangseo-myeon, Yangpyeong County, on the 8th and begin its full-scale sales schedule.
The complex is the first branded development with at least 300 homes to be introduced in the Dumulmeori area. It will comprise six buildings, with two basement levels and up to 19 floors above ground, for a total of 333 homes. Unit types will include a diverse range of medium- to large-sized homes, with exclusive areas of 74m2, 84m2 A, B and C, 123m2, and 146m2 P. In particular, the 146m2 P type will be a top-floor penthouse, a rare offering in the area.
The upcoming application schedule will begin with special-supply applications on the 12th, followed by first-priority applications on the 13th and second-priority applications on the 14th. Successful applicants will be announced on the 20th, and contract signing for them will take place over three days, from the 2nd through the 4th of next month.
The complex offers the advantage of being exceptionally close to Yangsu Station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line, about a three-minute walk away. By express train, passengers can reach the northern part of Seoul in the 30-minute range and the southern part in the 50-minute range. Transferring to Line 8 at Guri Station makes it possible to reach Jamsil Station in the 40-minute range. If the planned fifth-phase extension of Seoul Subway Line 9 goes ahead, access to Seoul is expected to improve even more dramatically. By car, Hanam can be reached in the 15-minute range, Songpa in the 30-minute range and Gangnam in the 40-minute range. Residents can also enjoy convenient access to abundant amenities, including Starfield Hanam.
The educational environment is also considered exceptional. Yangsu Elementary School and its attached kindergarten, as well as Yangsu Middle School, are close by, directly in front of the complex, allowing for a safe commute to school. A separate daycare center will also be built within the complex to help address the shortage of childcare facilities in Yangseo-myeon. Above all, Yangseo High School—a prestigious autonomous school near the complex that offers access to the advantageous rural-area special admissions track for university entry while benefiting from excellent access to Seoul—is drawing interest from parents looking to buy homes.
The residential environment is also pleasant. The complex is set amid pristine nature preserved by strict regulations, including those governing the Paldang Source Water Protection Zone. Nearby green spaces such as Semiwon, Garden of Water and Yongdam Riverside Ecological Park combine to offer an exceptional restorative lifestyle. Some homes will feature a panoramic double-river-view design, with views of both the Namhan and Bukhan Rivers.
The complex has a park-style design with no cars above ground, featuring a spacious lawn plaza and walking paths. It also offers generous parking at 1.42 spaces per home, along with high-quality community facilities rarely found in Yangseo-myeon, including a screen golf practice range and a fitness center. Its location in a non-regulated area, which means relatively fewer hurdles for housing applications and loans, is also considered an advantage.
