[Financial News] Lotte World Adventure Busan is unveiling Giant Revolution, a roller coaster with three consecutive rapid accelerations that reaches a top speed of 110 km/h and soars 50 meters into the air. It will offer a new kind of thrill on the world's only heart-shaped track.
Lotte World Adventure Busan held a press day on the 7th and announced that Giant Revolution will officially begin operating on the 8th.

This roller coaster is the latest addition to the Giant series, following Giant Digger, Giant Swing and Giant Splash, Lotte World Adventure Busan's signature thrill rides. Lotte World Busan is expanding its thrill attractions, highlighting the ride as a “world's first” roller coaster unlike anything seen anywhere else.
Its distinctive appearance immediately catches the eye. The ride, which looks like two enormous hearts overlapping, has become a hot topic on social media. Unlike conventional roller coasters that run up and down long, extended tracks, it compresses the entire track into two giant heart-shaped structures.
Unlike conventional roller coasters that climb to the top on a lift before dropping, this is a linear synchronous motor (LSM) launch coaster that accelerates rapidly and shoots forward. It swings back and forth like a Viking ride before climbing toward the top.
With a top speed of 110 km/h, it is the fastest launch coaster in South Korea. After three bursts of acceleration, it reaches the track's highest point, 50 meters above the ground, in just a few seconds. Riders will enjoy a dizzying moment of airtime, then experience a thrilling rush of speed as they hurtle through a twisting descent.
The new roller coaster is seen as a key attraction that caps Lotte World Busan's sustained expansion of its ride lineup and further strengthens its competitiveness. With the addition of Giant Revolution, six new attractions have been added to the 15 the park had when it opened in 2022, bringing its total lineup to 21.
A Lotte World Busan representative said, “By continuing to expand our attractions, we plan to satisfy a broad range of age groups, from families to people in their 20s and 30s.” The representative added, “We expect Lotte World Adventure Busan to serve as a tourism landmark for Busan, Ulsan and South Gyeongsang Province through Giant Revolution, which will capture the attention of tourists from around the world and become a signature attraction.”
