About 70 people, including managers of city-backed funds, investors from the capital region and representatives of local companies, are expected to attend this year's event, held in conjunction with FLY ASIA 2026.
As the number of growth-stage companies in Busan needing follow-on investment after their initial funding has recently increased, this event will focus on helping companies at the scale-up stage attract investment.
Six growth companies, including Risol, a brain-health wellness device, and Newrizen, an electrostatic-based nanofilter, will give investor relations (IR) presentations. Another 15 companies, whose needs were assessed in advance and who have already been matched with investors, will hold investment consultations.
Twenty-six major domestic investment firms, including managers of city-backed funds, SBI Investment and KOLON INVESTMENT, INC., will take part in the show and connect promising local companies with investors to support their scale-up.
Korea Venture Investment Corporation's Southeastern Regional Investment Center will share trends in regional venture investment and the status of fund management. Three fund management firms for city-backed funds will also take part in reverse pitching.
Alongside the Boogi Tech Investment Show, held regularly four times a year, the city also holds a monthly Boogi Tech Investment Roadshow to expand its network with investors in the capital region.
So far, these events have provided opportunities for IR presentations and consultations between a cumulative total of 166 companies and 271 investment firms, helping four companies attract about 9 billion won in investment.
